“Overall, this was a nice property. We had our own cabin, which helps to avoid noise from neighbors. However, the interior roads were gravel, which creates dust when people drive through. It was very hot the day that we stayed there, and the air conditioner could barely keep up. If you like to be cold, it would not have been enough. “This was like a blast from the past! It was charming, very clean, sociable and a wonderful staff! It was so nice to actually see our neighbors and talk with them, so opposite modern hotels. We traveled with our dog and there was a beautiful walking trail just across the street. Everything about the establishment felt warm and welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

This is the first hotel where I have stayed multiple nights where the rooms were not cleaned and beds not made up after the first night. A cleaned room and made-up beds should have been part of the deal for the amount of money we paid. In addition, the pool was out of order as was the TV on the first night of our stay.”

It was filthy, it stunk, the towels were dirty and stained, the pool had algae or mold growing around the edges. The whole motel is run down and in disrepair. This place is rough! We're not fancy people. We just want a clean, safe place to stay. This definitely didn't qualify and the ratings are terribly misleading.”

“Owner gave us tour of this wonderful old home. Amenities were great... snacks at no charge in room. Our King Suite was very large. Owner lets you choose from locally made natural soaps with different fragrances for your shower. Breakfast was good with some local pantries and fresh fruit. Very unique property with very involved owner”

“Don't stay here. If you don't enjoy funky charming properties in fun walkable areas. Or if you don't appreciate in touch and tuned in property owners.Place was clean and the kitchen really well equipped. Cindy even had everything included to make and drink coffee, also Expresso. Ideal for a family of four with the extra twin beds in the main living space. Yes, the floors creak and the electric is in conduit but the building dates from 1894 and many of the original bones are still there. That's……
